Problem Avoidance
Pre-trial audits are performed in order to
meet with our customer and fully understand and discuss their processes
and working parameters. This also helps to establish the parameters for
product testing on-site.
Product pre-trials to test the product are done at Sico using our
Customer's working parameters, thus ensuring that no product problems
will occur at their facility during a line trial.
Line trials are a "hands on" experience for our customer to apply
the product on their parts/machinery, utilizing their processes. This
also allows our Technical Service personnel to demonstrate the product
or to point out any process concerns that may need addressing.
A written "Problem Avoidance Guide" is provided to our customer.
It was created for customer follow-up and is based on the theory of "fix
it now before it becomes a bigger problem".
Customer Paint Committees: We assist our customer in establishing
a Paint Committee, the purpose being to problem-solve through regular
discussions with our customer, provide a clear understanding of the
Customer's goals and to assist in better Customer/Supplier
communications. The agenda is set by the customer and regularly attended
by Sico Technical Service.
